I got my earlobes repierced today. I've been thinking about having it done for a really long time now, but it was just one of those things that it seems like you never get around to actually doing. I hadn't planned on getting them done or anything because in fact, I only went out today to look for a compartmentalized plastic box to keep all of my many fox curios in for international travel. And to get some food. I decided to have a look around a mall that was nearby and it was all over from there...

My new earrings are really cute. They're studs. Really. On both the back and front they are short conical shapes. I think I picked the "guy's" piercing earrings. No little gemstones or tiny metal balls for me. I didn't realize the backs were going to be identical to the fronts, but that's really quite cool as well. The best part is that my ears don't hurt at all. A much different experience then my cartilage piercing.

I'd say it's been a definite success. Even if I didn't end up getting a box for my foxes. Just couldn't find one I liked and that wasn't pink.
